A set of two replacement muzzles for the 7.92 mm MG-34 hull machine gun, rounded out with an armored ball mount, in 1:35 scale from Elefant. It is not a kit of the vehicle but a fine detail accessory for models of German tanks of the Pz.IV family in the versions with the 7.5 cm KwK 40 gun.
It joins a turned metal (brass) barrel muzzle with a faithfully shaped 3D-printed mount. The metal muzzle has a properly drilled hole and a clean profile that is hard to produce in stock plastic, and the mount matches the shape of the ball mount of the hull machine gun on the later Pz.IV versions exactly. The front end of the model thus reads markedly more convincingly.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the printed parts, and clean and deburr the metal muzzle. Cut the original machine gun off the model and replace it with the set; glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and on metal a gel version suits, as it gives longer to set the part. Spray over with a primer before painting.
An accessory for more advanced modelers; it holds no paints, glue or base kit.
