Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish 7TP light tank in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby. The model faithfully captures the characteristic outline of this tank, the running gear and the tracks, which are done as flexible bands. Decals for Polish vehicles and instructions with several marking options are included.
The 7TP was a Polish light tank of the 1930s, based on the British Vickers 6 Ton tank taken over under license and turned into a markedly improved version of it. It was powered by a diesel engine, which was an advanced choice for its day. The tank existed in two main forms: the earlier twin-turret one with machine gun armament and the later single-turret one with a rotating turret and a 37 mm anti-tank gun. In 1939 the single-turret version was among the best Polish tanks and it was used during the defense of Poland.
Glue and align the running gear before finishing the hull. Treat the base with a primer, then apply the Polish multi-color camouflage (commonly three shades) with an airbrush. Bring out the engraving and the rivets with washes and add dust and mud pigments to the running gear and the lower areas. Check the flexible tracks for correct tension before gluing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
