The real subject

Building and painting tips

Fit the antenna at the very end of the build, otherwise it is easy to bend or break off while the model is handled further. Measure out the mounting point in advance from the documentation and drill the hole with a micro bit so that the foot seats without play. Choose the glue according to the material of the part: ordinary cement for plastic models has no effect on parts that are not polystyrene, and super glue is needed, dosed in small drops so that it does not run onto the surroundings. Wash and degrease the part before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on the smooth surface. Match the shade to the vehicle and touch in the joint at the foot of the antenna.
