PANZER ART 1:35 barrel with a canvas for the Tiger I (early) is a resin accessory for building the German heavy tank. It is not a model but a detail replacement part.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin replacement barrel with a rendered protective canvas over the gun mantlet for the early German Tiger I heavy tank in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle kit but a detail accessory, which replaces the plastic barrel and adds a realistic fabric cover over the gap between the mantlet and the turret.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with the 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun. The early forms differed in details of the turret, the mantlet and the fittings. The crews often covered the gap of the gun mantlet with a canvas cover, which protected the moving mounting from dirt and bad weather.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and clean the mating surface up. Bond with super glue, and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Pick the fabric canvas out with a dark wash into the folds and a dry brush on the edges.
The accessory does not contain the model itself, nor glue or paints. It is meant for completing an existing kit.
