A set of replacement wheels for a model of the eight-wheeled Boxer armored personnel carrier in the GTF version in 1:35 scale. The name states Michelin X Force tires and it is precisely this detail that distinguishes the set from the otherwise identically named variant with the Michelin XML tread pattern, so it pays to read the parenthesis at the end of the name. The wheels are fitted onto the chassis of your kit, and the vehicle itself is not included in the package.

The Boxer and its running gear

The Boxer is a modern wheeled armored vehicle built on a modular principle: a common drive module carries an interchangeable mission module, so a carrier as well as an ambulance, command or engineering rendition comes about from one chassis. The tread pattern stands out when you darken the tire first and then go over the edges of the tread with a dry brush of a lighter shade; apply settled dust with pigment from the bottom upward, not evenly over the whole surface. Before the final gluing, check that all the wheels rest on the base in the same plane: on an eight-wheeled chassis even a small deviation is told at first glance.
