The set 1:35 Camouflage Paint Masks For Russian BMPT TERMINATOR I (Russian Arms Expo 2009) contains two sheets of pre-cut masks for spraying a multicolor camouflage scheme onto a model of the tank support vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
Two sheets of pre-cut parts of thin masking tape cover the hull, the turret and the armored covers of the model and serve for airbrushing the multicolor scheme in which the machine presented itself at the Russian arms expo at Nizhny Tagil in 2009. The tape is semi-transparent, so when laying it down you can see where a part belongs, it bends over rounded edges and after careful removal it can be laid again.
The BMPT came about on the chassis of the T-72 tank as an escort for tank companies in built-up and mountainous terrain, where a tank turret cannot reach enough elevation for the upper floors of buildings or the surrounding slopes. The armament consists of a pair of rapid-fire cannons, antitank guided missiles and grenade launchers. The nickname Terminator arose outside its home country and has caught on among modelers as well; the Roman numeral one sets the original form of the machine apart from a later rebuild on the T-72 hull.
Apply the lightest shade continuously over the whole model and let it cure thoroughly. Lay the parts onto a perfectly dry surface, from the largest to the smallest, and press the edges down with a toothpick. Around the transitions spray at right angles from above and in thin layers, so that the paint does not run under the edge. Take them off shortly after drying and at a shallow angle.
