A resin detail accessory from PANZER ART in 1:35 scale. The casting represents the canvas over the cargo bed of the American M923 heavy truck from the family of 5-ton 6x6 vehicles. This is not a model of the vehicle but a part that replaces the empty cargo bed of a kit with a sheeted version.
A sheeted cargo bed gives a truck a different, working look and it saves the modeler from having to deal with the inside of the load bed. In resin the casting captures the folds, the buckles and the tension of the canvas faithfully, which is hard to reproduce in any other material.
Wash the part free of release agent, cut off the casting block and sand it with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the canvas in a matte shade and bring the folds out with a light dry brush and a fine wash, so that the texture of the fabric stands out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
