The set holds individual metal links in white metal, which are threaded onto the supplied wire and joined into a fully workable track with a realistic sag. It is a metal replacement for the plastic tracks, not a model of the vehicle. The set is intended for models of the British Centurion tank in 1:35 scale.
The Centurion was a British tank that came about at the close of the Second World War and became one of the most successful tanks of the postwar era. It stood out for good armor, a powerful gun and excellent cross-country performance. It served for decades in armies all over the world and proved itself in many conflicts; its chassis became the basis for a series of derived vehicles.
Clean the flash off the links, lay them out into two tracks and join them with the wire threaded through to form the pins; secure the joints with super glue. Blacken the metal with a bluing solution or spray it with a primer and paint. Realistic weathering comes from washes and pigments, which hold very well on metal. Assemble the track right on the running gear of the model, so that it settles well.
This is an accessory, that is replacement tracks, not a complete model. The kit of the vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package.
