This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Canadian Chevrolet C60S military truck in the tanker form for carrying fuel. The model in 1:35 scale from IBG Models makes it possible to build the cab in two variants (No.12 and No.13) and contains photo-etched parts and decals.
CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) vehicles were built in Canada by the General Motors and Ford divisions to British specifications and were used in large numbers by Commonwealth armies during the Second World War. The characteristic shape of the cab with its markedly sloped front allowed a short overall length for the vehicle. The tanker version served to supply units with fuel.
The model has a detailed interior and engine, so plan the assembly so that you paint those parts before the body is closed. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Treat the surface with a primer, spray the shades with an airbrush and fine-tune the finish with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
