This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Chinese ZBD-04 tracked infantry fighting vehicle. The model is meant to be glued and painted. The box offers parts on several sprues, a hull with parts shaped by a slide mold, the turret and individual track links; the exact contents may differ between individual editions.
The ZBD-04 is a tracked infantry fighting vehicle developed for the Chinese army around the turn of the millennium. In its turret, close in design to the Russian BMP-3, it carries a 100 mm main gun and a coaxial 30 mm automatic cannon. The vehicle carries an infantry squad, gives it fire support and can destroy armored targets.
Assembling the individual track links takes more time, so set aside some quiet for them. Finish the running gear before the hull is closed up. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, spray over a primer and pick the tracks and the running gear out with washes and pigments for dust and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
