Friulmodel 1:35 - metal tracks for the Churchill (early type) is a set of workable white metal tracks for models in 1:35 scale - individual links joined by pins that replace the kit tracks.
Responsibility details are not available.
Friulmodel metal tracks in 1:35 scale are a replacement set of individual white metal links matching the early track type of the British heavy infantry tank Churchill. It is not a model but a detail accessory replacing the plastic or rubber tracks from the kit. The links are joined with metal pins into a workable run with a convincing weight and sag.
The Churchill was a British heavy infantry tank of the Second World War, characterized by heavy armor and tracks running around the whole hull. Thanks to its ability to cross difficult ground it proved itself in many operations. The early versions used a different type of track, which this set captures faithfully.
First clean the flash off the individual links and fit them together. They are joined with metal pins made from the enclosed wire, which you cut to length, and the result is a genuinely workable run that follows the road wheels and the natural sag between them. Metal holds paint and pigments excellently, so we recommend painting and weathering the tracks before fitting them to the model. Tracks running around the hull come into their own with thorough weathering along their whole length.
This is a detail set of metal tracks, not a vehicle model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
