Black Dog 1:35 Defender Wolf — accessories set with crew is a resin set of equipment for the British off-road vehicle, supplemented with crew figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory set in 1:35 scale for the British military off-road vehicle Defender Wolf. It is not a vehicle kit — it is a collection of castings of equipment and cargo which, according to the name, also holds crew figures. That is what sets it apart from the ordinary accessory set for the same subject, which is a separate item: here you get the equipment and the human scale reference in one package. The exact number of figures and parts is stated on the packaging of the set.
An open off-road vehicle can by definition be seen into — both missing equipment and empty seats are noticed on it at once. The set deals with both at the same time. Cargo and kit fill the load area and the sides, while the crew figures add action and scale to the scene. It also gives the model a composition: the eye follows the figures and only then the vehicle, so even a simple base begins to work as a view.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let them dry, otherwise the paint will not hold on the remains of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw; do not break them. Sand wet and protect your breathing. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue; ordinary cement for plastic has no effect. Lay down a thin primer before painting. Try the figures dry in the seats and on the steps first — with resin figures the angle of a limb or the way they seat often needs adjusting, and that is easier to do before gluing. Paint both the crew and the equipment separately off the vehicle and fit them only once the base coat is finished.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
