The pair was made up of an amphibious truck and its cargo trailer; in the supply flow heading from the sea into the interior they appeared together, and photographs from the landing operations catch them one behind the other. This item therefore covers both at once: the wheels of the towing vehicle with a spare and the wheels of the trailer with them, all in the shape where the rubber is compressed by the load.
When a rig is built as a whole, it is sensible to give it a uniform foundation. Wheels from one package have the same shape of pattern and the same degree of settling, so the trailer and the towing machine look like pieces of one unit, not like two models finished years apart. The hunt for two different sets also falls away, and with it the uncertainty whether they will match in shape.
