This resin detail set represents smoke dischargers (grenade launchers) fitted with a protective cover, of the kind mounted on the sides of turrets and on hulls of armored vehicles. It is an aftermarket detail for superdetailing in 1:35 scale, not a kit. It replaces the simplified parts from the box with more crisply shaped castings. It is supplied unpainted.
You fit the dischargers onto the turret or the side of a vehicle. The cover and the individual launcher tubes add credibility to the model, and the shading of the detail comes out once it has been painted and a wash applied.
Wash the parts and separate them carefully from their carrier blocks and supports. Because of their small size, work over a tray and glue with super glue. Once painted in the base color of the vehicle, bring out the recesses with a wash and the edges with a dry brush. Sand with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
