An injection-molded plastic kit of the German standard truck in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer IBG Models. This variant captures the version with a flatbed cargo body in metal (sheet steel) form. The parts are molded in gray plastic and waterslide decals are in the box as well.
The Einheitsdiesel, meaning standard diesel, was built between 1937 and 1940 by a number of German companies as a technically advanced, robust and reliable vehicle. Thanks to its six-wheel drive and independent suspension it had remarkable cross-country ability. The Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe used it on most theaters as a standard truck and in many specialized forms as well, such as a radio van, a workshop or a field kitchen.
Finish and paint the complex six-wheel-drive running gear before you close the body. Glue the joints with thin cement for plastic and use a primer before painting. German shades come out best with an airbrush, and you fine-tune the weathering with washes and dust or mud pigments on the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
