Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary German Fieseler Fi-156 Storch in the large 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The box covers the early A-0 and C-1 versions. The large scale means a richly broken-down surface, a clearly readable cockpit interior and extensive glazing, which makes the model a rewarding display piece. The glazed cabin and the slender tube-frame fuselage structure are typical of the real aircraft and come into their own in this scale.
The Storch, meaning stork, came from a requirement of the mid-1930s for a liaison and artillery observation aircraft able to take off and land in a short distance. Thanks to powerful high-lift flaps it could take off and land on a very short strip and stay in the air at low speed. During the war it served as a courier machine for senior officers, a reconnaissance aircraft and an air ambulance, and it was deployed on practically every front.
First finish and paint the tube-frame cabin interior, otherwise you will not reach it through the glazing. Mask the glazing with strips of masking tape or with ready-made masks and spray with an airbrush. Glue the landing gear with its long shock struts and the fine struts firmly and let them dry thoroughly. Bring out the panel lines with a light wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
