Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the FJ43 off-road vehicle in the form with a soft canvas top. The name refers to two users, the Israel Defense Forces (the abbreviation IDF) and the Lebanese Armed Forces (the abbreviation LAF). The model is in 1:35 scale, that is in the most common standard for ground equipment, and it belongs to a line in which the brand has done more than one body form of the same vehicle.
The FJ43 is the lengthened version of the Toyota Land Cruiser off-road vehicle, built on a ladder frame with all-wheel drive. The form with a canvas top instead of a fixed body is lighter and easy to take off, which gives the vehicle a better view out and access to the luggage area. It was precisely the undemanding maintenance and the toughness of the chassis that made this type a widespread light utility vehicle.
Finish the interior, the dashboard and the chassis before you close the body up. Paint the canvas top matte and emphasize its texture with a fine wash in the folds and a dry brush along the edges of the seams — the fabric will then stop looking like plastic. On the body a filler primer, thin coats of paint from an airbrush and only then decals on gloss work well. Do the dust and mud with pigments from the bottom upwards, so that the transition looks natural. Fit the glass only after painting and mask it in advance.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
