An injection-molded plastic kit of the British FV432 Mk.3 Bulldog armored personnel carrier in 1:35 scale from Takom. The set is laid out as a 2-in-1 release, so two standards of the vehicle can be built from it according to the instructions. The hatches can be assembled in the open as well as the closed position.
The FV432 is a tracked armored personnel carrier of the British Army from the FV430 family of vehicles, introduced in the 1960s to carry infantry on the battlefield. The Mk.3 Bulldog version came about as a re-armed and additionally armored standard for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, where it was to give better protection to the crew and the troops carried. The vehicle takes a squad of several men and is usually armed with a machine gun.
Before you close the hull, finish and paint the running gear and any interior, which are hard to reach later. Use thin modeling cement for the plastic, spray the whole model with a primer and apply the paints with an airbrush. A patina comes from washes run into the recesses and from dust or mud pigments on the lower parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
