Replacement rear wheels for a model of the Garford-Putilov armored car in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Garford-Putilov is a heavy armored car that came about during the First World War in Russia by rebuilding a truck chassis of American manufacture at the Putilov works. It was a tall and heavy machine on which the wheels make up a conspicuous part of the silhouette, and seen from the side the eye stops on them first.
Replacement rear wheels for a model in 1:35 scale. Replacement wheels are acquired where a modeler wants a more exact shape of the rim and the tread than the basic kit offers, or needs a different variant of the wheels. This is an extra for a model, not a separate kit.
First fit the wheels dry and check that the model stands level on all its wheels; only then fix them. If a contact patch of the tire is indicated on them, turn it toward the ground. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down carefully. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. The simplest procedure is to paint the wheels separately and fit them only onto a finished chassis.
For a modeler who is building an armored car in 1:35 scale and wants the wheels executed more carefully, or is looking for a different variant from the one his kit offers. Compare the diameter and the way of attachment with your kit before buying. The model, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
