1:35 German 120 mm smoothbore twogun barrels for VT 1-2 prototype tank

Aber 1:35 – a pair of 120 mm smoothbore barrels for the VT 1-2

This set contains precisely turned metal barrels for two 120 mm smoothbore guns, intended for a model of the German experimental VT 1-2 tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit but a refining accessory that replaces the plastic barrels from the base kit with finely machined metal parts.

The real subject

The VT 1-2 was a German experimental turretless tank of the 1970s with the unconventional arrangement of two 120 mm smoothbore guns mounted directly in the hull. The concept was to test firepower and speed without a conventional rotating turret.

Use

• The turned metal barrels have a perfectly circular cross-section and a clean muzzle.
• They replace the plastic parts from the base kit.
• They are glued with super glue; before painting we recommend applying a primer.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the VT 1-2 who want realistic metal barrels.
• Experienced builders of military vehicles in 1:35 scale.

The accessory does not contain the vehicle model itself, nor paints; it serves to refine a kit.
