Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic set of figures of German soldiers searching the ground for mines with handheld detectors and a probing rod, in 1:35 scale. The set is a rewarding subject for Second World War dioramas, because it captures a less usual but realistic scene of engineer work in the field. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted; the exact number, the poses and the equipment are given by the instructions in the package.
Searching for mines and making them safe was dangerous and patient work for engineer units in the Second World War. For it the soldiers used portable detectors with headphones and long probing rods with which they carefully pierced the ground and looked for hidden charges. The uniforms and equipment match German infantry from the beginning to the later phase of the war.
Glue the figures with thin cement for plastic and clean the parting lines up carefully. Paint the uniforms in field gray green and khaki tones, set the equipment and the leather apart in color and build the faces up in layers from a darker base. A wash in the folds and light accents on the edges give the figures relief; darken the instruments and the metal parts in a subdued way.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
