The set is marked as two versions in one package, so during the build you choose which variant of the car you make; both cannot be built at once from one package. An MG34 machine gun is included as a separate accessory, which can be placed in the car or used in a scene. The kit is glued and painted by the usual method for injection-molded plastic.
The Kübelwagen Type 82 was a light off-road car derived from a civilian vehicle, with an air-cooled flat four engine mounted at the rear. The design relied on low weight, simplicity and high ground clearance instead of all-wheel drive - thanks to that the car got to places heavier vehicles could not. The body was open, with a canvas roof and a folding windshield, and the interior fittings were kept to a minimum. The car served mainly as a liaison, staff and reconnaissance vehicle and was built in large numbers in the first half of the 1940s.
The car is small, so every detail shows - sand the joints carefully and remove the mold seams. Finish and paint the interior, the instrument panel and the seats before you fit the body, because afterwards you cannot reach them. Paint the chassis and the engine compartment separately. After the base coat apply the camouflage pattern with an airbrush, then gloss varnish under the decals and matte varnish at the end. Keep the weathering restrained: a dark wash into the engraved lines, and dust and mud pigments on the lower body and the fenders. Paint the machine gun separately and fit it only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
