The package contains plastic parts and decals; the exact contents are given in the instructions supplied. The model captures captured French equipment in German service.
The Renault UE was a small French artillery tractor and ammunition carrier of the 1930s. After 1940 a great many of these vehicles fell into German hands and the Wehrmacht used them for all manner of auxiliary duties. In the guard vehicle version they served to protect and secure installations and roads in occupied territories, where their small size and simple maintenance came in useful.
A small tracked vehicle deserves a careful build of the running gear, which you should finish and paint before you close up the hull. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and sand the joints down. Spray the base coat with an airbrush over a primer and create the weathering with a wash and dust or mud pigments on the tracks and the underside.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
