Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit of the vehicle but a resin replacement for the wheels of a model of the German Faun L900 heavy truck of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale. The set carries a faithful tread of Continental tires and will replace the plastic wheels of the base kit. The maker is DEF Model.
The wheels of trucks are large and conspicuous, so their detail markedly affects the overall impression. Resin parts have a sharp rendering of the tread and the sidewalls and tend to be shaped with a hint of load, so the vehicle looks as if it really were standing on the ground. The replacement also does away with the parting line from the mold that plastic wheels tend to have.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and clean them up (with respiratory protection). It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the tires in a matte dark gray, set the rims apart and dust the whole with pigments for an effect of mud and dust from the terrain.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
