The resin castings capture the deep off-road tread and the texture of the rubber better than the standard plastic and suit a vehicle shown in difficult, muddy ground. The wheels fit onto the original axles of the base kit.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting. You can create the mud effect with pastes and dust pigments pressed into the tread.
