Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American heavy off-road truck HEMTT in the armed Gun Truck form, 1:35 scale, manufacturer Italeri. The set contains a detailed cab, the chassis, treaded tires, clear parts for the windows and the upper machine-gun positions; the model is built unassembled and unpainted.
The abbreviation HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) denotes a family of heavy off-road trucks with all eight wheels driven (8x8) that the US Army introduced from the middle of the 1980s. In action in Iraq and Afghanistan the trucks were modified by field workshops according to the needs of the crews. The Gun Truck form was armed up for convoy protection and escort duties, with the truck carrying additional armor and machine guns.
With a truck, work from the chassis and the axles to the cab and the superstructure. Glue the joints with liquid cement for plastic. After spraying the primer, choose either a desert sand or a three-color NATO scheme; bring out the recesses with a wash, draw the edges with a dry brush and add dust pigments to the wheel wells and the underside. The improvised armor and the crew equipment offer room for an individual treatment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
