An injection-molded plastic kit of the Hungarian 43M Toldi III light tank in 1:35 scale. The set holds over four hundred parts on a number of sprues, photo-etched parts and a great many individual track links. The build begins with the lower hull and the running gear, continues with the upper hull and the fenders and ends with the turret and its nicely rendered detail. The decals are for one variant of the vehicle.
The Toldi was a Hungarian light tank developed under a license for the Swedish Landsverk L-60. The Toldi III version represented a later, more heavily armed and modified variant of this series. Toldi tanks served with the Hungarian army from 1940 and were committed above all on the Eastern Front between 1941 and 1944.
Prepare the individual track links in advance and finish the running gear before closing the hull. We recommend thin cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush. For period weathering, washes into the recesses and pigments for mud and dust effects suit well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
