Pit-Road 1:35 IJA Type 92 heavy armored vehicle (late version) is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese armored vehicle of the interwar period.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Pit-Road captures the Japanese Type 92 heavy armored vehicle in its late production version, in 1:35 scale. The set holds photo-etched parts and one-piece flexible tracks. Take the exact contents of the package and the number of parts from the instructions in the box.
The Type 92, also known as the Jyu-Sokosha, that is the heavy armored vehicle, was a lightly armored Japanese tracked machine taken into service with the mounted units of the Japanese army in the early 1930s. It came about as part of the mechanization of the cavalry and, by the Japanese standards of the time, stood out for a fairly high road speed. The late version differs from the early machines in some design details of the hull, the turret and the running gear.
With armored vehicles, assemble and paint the running gear before you close the hull, as it is easier to reach. Fit the flexible tracks once the underside is painted. Separate the photo-etched parts on a hard surface and bond them with super glue. Lay the base shade of Japanese army camouflage on with an airbrush; the weathering comes from dark washes into the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
