This is neither a kit nor parts but a set of pre-cut masking masks for a model from the Border Model kit in 1:35 scale. Double-sided means that the package contains masks for the outside and the inside of the glazing. On this subject that makes a lot of sense: the canopy is long, glazed along its whole length and divided by a great many frames, and the inside of the frame usually has a different shade from the outside. Without an inner mask the color shows through the glass and the result looks untidy. The 1:35 scale is unusual for aircraft: a model is noticeably bigger in it than in the usual aircraft scales, so the masking of the canopy is all the more visible.
The Ju 87G is the anti-tank variant of the single-engine Junkers Ju 87 dive bomber. It differs from the usual versions in its pair of underwing cannon pods and in the absence of the dive brakes, which had lost their purpose in this role. The rest of the airframe, including the cranked wing and the fixed landing gear with streamlined wheel spats, remained characteristic of the whole type.
Degrease the glazing first and let it dry. Lift the masks with tweezers by the edge. Place each mask in the middle of the area and press it home with a toothpick so that it seats even in the corners of the frames. Spray the paint in several thin coats; a heavy application leaves a step at the edge. Lift the mask while the paint is only dry to the touch, not after it has cured fully. On a long canopy it pays to work section by section and to keep checking whether anything has seeped under. Fit the inner masks before you glue the glazing onto the fuselage.
