An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank Tiger II, known as the King Tiger (Königstiger), in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. The model captures this massive machine with its long gun barrel and its steeply sloped armor.
The Tiger II Ausf.B was a German heavy tank of the later part of the Second World War and the heaviest series-built tank of the conflict. It combined steeply sloped armor with a powerful long-barreled 88 mm gun that could destroy its opponents at long range. At the price of great weight it thus offered exceptional firepower and toughness.
Glue the plastic with a liquid modeling cement. Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before you fit the fenders and the superstructures. Apply a primer before painting; the late war German camouflage in three shades is best sprayed with an airbrush. Weathering gives the final touch of realism - washes in the recesses and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
