An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Tiger II heavy tank, known as the King Tiger, in its initial production form in 1:35 scale from Takom. The package contains plastic sprues, running gear and decals for building the whole vehicle.
The Tiger II was a German heavy tank of the late Second World War, which combined heavy frontal armor with a powerful large-caliber gun. The initial production form was marked by a turret of the earlier shape with a rounded front face, which a reworked version later replaced. The vehicle was deployed in the closing phase of the war on both the Western and the Eastern Front.
First assemble and paint the running gear and the underside of the hull. Glue the plastic with thin cement; a three-color camouflage laid on with an airbrush suits the large surfaces. Finish the surface with a wash into the recesses and with dust pigments, and dirty the tracks and the road wheels to match the way the vehicle was used.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
