An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet KrAZ-255B heavy off-road truck in 1:35 scale from Roden. The model in a sturdy box captures the massive vehicle with 6x6 drive, large off-road wheels and a cargo bed. The package holds injection-molded plastic sprues, tires and a decal sheet.
The KrAZ-255B was a Soviet heavy truck with drive to all six wheels, built at the Kremenchug automobile works. It was committed from the 1960s as a general-purpose load carrier, as a tractor and as a chassis for specialized bodies. It stood out for its high mobility in heavy terrain and became one of the most widespread heavy trucks of its era.
We recommend starting with the chassis, the axles and the running gear and using thin cement for plastic. Spray the cab and the body with an airbrush over primer. The typical olive or khaki finish will stand out once washes and mud and dust effects have been applied to the wheels and the underside of the vehicle.
