The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is intended for modelers interested in contemporary military equipment.
The KTO Rosomak is a Polish wheeled armored personnel carrier with 8x8 drive, built under license from the Finnish Patria AMV. It entered service with the Polish army in the first decade of the 21st century and proved itself above all on deployments abroad, among other places in Afghanistan, where it earned a reputation as a tough and well armored machine. The vehicle is produced in a whole range of versions — combat with a gun turret, medical, engineering and support — and forms the backbone of the mechanized units of the Polish army. It combines high mobility on the road and off it with good protection for the crew.
With armored vehicles it pays to give attention to the running gear and to any interior before you close the hull — once it is assembled those places are usually out of reach. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and apply the paint over a primer, ideally with an airbrush. Liven the basic military finish up with weathering: filters and washes will bring out the rivets and the panel lines, while pigments and mud effects on the wheels and the lower hull will give the vehicle a convincing field look. Consider a light edge highlight with drybrushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
