The LAV-III is a modern wheeled armored vehicle in the 8x8 layout, which entered service at the end of the 1990s. It serves above all as an infantry fighting vehicle with the Canadian land forces and other armies. In the turret it carries a 25mm automatic cannon complemented by a coaxial machine gun; the eight-wheeled chassis gives it high mobility off road as well as on it. The vehicle became the basis of a whole family of derived versions.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and glue the glazing of the vision ports and the optics carefully with a cement for clear parts. On an armored vehicle, assemble and paint the chassis and the interior features before you close the hull. Apply a primer and the paint with an airbrush; modern vehicles usually have a single-color or a desert scheme. Bring out the engraved lines with a wash and finish the dust and mud effects with pigments, concentrating on the wheels and the lower part of the vehicle.
