An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern Leopard 2A6 main battle tank in 1:35 scale, complemented by crew figures. It is a conventional military vehicle kit with detailed running gear and turret. The figures bring a finished model or a diorama to life.
The Leopard 2A6 is one of the most modern versions of the German Leopard 2 main battle tank. Its characteristic feature is the lengthened 120 mm gun with an L55 barrel, which increases both range and penetrating power compared with earlier versions. The Leopard 2 is among the most widespread Western tanks and serves in a number of armies around the world.
Use liquid cement for plastic. Finish and paint the running gear and the road wheels before you fit the turret. Spray the model with primer and paint it with an airbrush; for the three-color camouflage either masking or freehand airbrushing works. You create the weathering with washes into the recesses and with pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear. Paint the figures separately and set them in place at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
