A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks 1:35 Light Armored Vehicle JGSDF from the manufacturer SX-Art. It is not a kit of the vehicle but a masking accessory for crisp spraying with no paint bleeding under.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking templates in 1:35 scale intended for the Japanese Light Armored Vehicle. It is not a kit: the masks are laid on a part-built model and serve to make the boundaries between the colors come out crisp. The film is thin, follows the curves of the parts and leaves no adhesive on the surface when it is peeled off.
The Light Armored Vehicle is a four-wheeled light armored vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, taken into service at the start of the 21st century. It serves to carry a squad, for reconnaissance and for escorting convoys. It has an armored body with a wedge-shaped front, a roof opening for a machine gunner and off-road wheels with a deep tread. It is precisely the tires and the glazing that are among the most demanding places to spray on this type.
Degrease the surface before laying the mask on and let the base coat cure thoroughly, because a mask digs into soft paint and tears it away when peeled off. Carry the mask with tweezers and press it down all around with a wooden toothpick. Spray several very thin coats; one heavy coat bleeds under the edge and smears the boundary. Peel the mask off slowly and at a sharp angle, ideally while the paint is still fresh. For the rubber of the tires do not mix pure black but a dark gray, because then the model does not look flat.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
