Laser-cut model foliage from the manufacturer Model Scene in a recommended scale of 1:35. It is not a finished tree and not a kit — it is a loose scenery material. The leaves have the characteristic heart shape of a linden leaf, and the extra autumn colors version means a more varied mix of autumn shades: besides the basic yellow there are ocher, brown, rusty and fading green tones.
Autumn litter in nature never has a single color. Leaves dry out at different rates, those underneath are darker and damper, while freshly fallen ones are richer. A mixed shade therefore saves you the work you would otherwise have to put in with additional toning, and the scene looks alive the moment it is sprinkled on.
Sprinkle it through a fine sieve in an irregular layer and fix it with thinned PVA glue or matte medium from a sprayer. In an autumn scene it pays to build up layers: first a darker layer that fell earlier, then a few lighter fresh leaves on top. Along paths and walls the litter naturally drifts and thickens — respect that and do not make an even carpet. Lay individual leaves with tweezers.
