1:35 Loader for T-16 tractor is a resin set of a loader body for a model of the small Soviet T-16 tractor in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set with which a model of the small Soviet T-16 self-propelled chassis in 1:35 scale is converted into a machine with a front loader. It is not a model of the tractor in its own right but a body: you need to have the base kit. The set is interesting above all because it turns an ordinary farm machine into working equipment that is doing something in a diorama instead of just standing there.
The T-16 is a small Soviet-built self-propelled chassis with the engine at the rear and a cargo platform at the front, which gives the driver a direct view of the load. Machines of this kind were used in agriculture, on factory sites and in maintenance work, that is, wherever small loads were carried over short distances. That is exactly why they were often fitted with various bodies. On the modeling scene it is a rewarding subject for civilian and semi-industrial settings where large military vehicles do not fit.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water first, so that the paint holds. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, so that the mounting of the loader sits against the frame without a gap. Try the fit dry first and only then glue with cyanoacrylate glue; on the loader arms it is important that they stand symmetrically, otherwise any asymmetry is conspicuous on the finished model. Decide in advance whether the loader will be raised or lowered to the ground, because that sets how the parts go together. When painting, count on a working machine being muddy and scuffed: the edges of the bucket and the hydraulic rams polish up to a metallic shine and the underside gets covered in dust.
The set is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unpainted, and glue and paints are not included in the package.
