An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M10 tank destroyer in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The model is notable for its fine, high level of detail, a separate lower and upper hull, a separate transmission cover and an open turret. A metal gun barrel and rubber (vinyl) T49 tracks are included. The decals cover American and French vehicles of the Second World War.
The M10 was an American tank destroyer built on a medium tank chassis and armed with a 3-inch (76.2 mm) gun in an open rotating turret. The open turret gave a good field of view at the cost of crew protection. The M10 proved itself in Europe and elsewhere and was used by other Allied armies besides the American one. The subject is one of the icons of Allied anti-tank equipment.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; assemble the vinyl tracks according to the instructions. Finish the running gear and the open fighting compartment of the turret first, which is clearly visible on the M10, and only then complete the hull. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; bring out the panels with a wash and apply pigments to the lower hull for dust and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
