The M1A1 Abrams is an American main battle tank that brought a series of improvements over the original M1 version, among them a smoothbore gun of 120 mm caliber and protection against weapons of mass destruction. The tank is powered by a gas turbine and stands out for its heavy composite armor.
First assemble and paint the running gear and the lower hull, then close the hull up. Use thin cement on the plastic, and an airbrush and primer for painting. Desert as well as European schemes are well complemented by weathering from dust and pigments.
