Turned metal barrels of the 75 mm M3 L/40 and the 37 mm M6 for the M3 Lee tank of late production in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER are cut for the kit from the manufacturer MiniArt.

It is not a kit of a tank but a metal detailing accessory for a model in 1:35 scale. The set contains turned brass barrels of the long gun of 75 mm caliber of the M3 type with a length of 40 calibers and of the turret gun of 37 mm caliber of the M6 type. The set is cut for the kit from the manufacturer MiniArt; a version with the same contents for a kit from another manufacturer is sold separately as well, so go by which kit you have at home. Turned metal has a hollow muzzle and a straight axis over its whole length, which shows at first glance on a longer barrel.
The M3 Lee was an American medium tank of the beginning of the 1940s. The main gun of 75 mm caliber was mounted in the right-hand part of the hull with limited traverse, the smaller gun of 37 mm caliber in a rotating turret. The later production series received the longer 75 mm M3 weapon with a length of 40 calibers in place of the original short M2 gun. The individual production series also differed in other items of the hull and the turret, so the choice of accessories should start from the particular form you are building.
Cut the plastic barrel off as close to the mounting block as possible, level the area with a file and clean the hole out with a drill bit of a corresponding diameter. Glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) applied drop by drop with a toothpick; glue for plastic will not join metal. Degrease the metal with alcohol before painting and spray it with a primer, as otherwise the paint rubs off during handling. Fit the long barrel only at the end of the build and darken the muzzle at the end with a thin wash or with pigment.
This is an accessory, not a model of a tank. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
