Quickwheel M4 Sherman (HVSS) 1:35 — wheel masks

This set of spray masks is used for separating the rubber tire band from the metal disc of the road wheels quickly and cleanly. The masks follow the shape of the HVSS suspension wheels and let you spray the rubber ring without laborious brush work and without paint bleeding. These are not model parts but a painting aid intended for a tank model in 1:35 scale.

Use

• First spray the wheel with the base metal shade and let it dry.
• Lay the mask on and press it down gently with a wooden stick so that it seats all the way around; do not stretch it.
• Spray the dark rubber shade and lift the mask once the paint has flashed off.
• Depending on their condition, the masks can be used again on more wheels.

Who the set is for

For modelers of military vehicles who want to speed up painting a lot of road wheels and get a sharp transition between the rubber and the metal. The HVSS version corresponds to the late horizontal volute suspension of the Sherman with wider wheels and wide tracks.

The set contains the masks only. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
