This resin set from the Polish maker PANZER ART brings, in 1:35 scale, the turret of the M4 Sherman tank (M23 type) draped with an improvised winter camouflage cover of canvas. It is not a tank kit but a detail conversion set that replaces the original turret and gives the model a striking winter look.
During winter campaigns crews commonly covered the turret with tarpaulins and improvised material, both for camouflage and for protection from the cold. PANZER ART captures this modification with a faithful relief of sagging, gathered canvas, which is hard to reproduce in injection-molded plastic. The set therefore creates an impressive centerpiece for a winter diorama scene.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the canvas in shades of faded white and beige with a strong emphasis on the folds using a dry brush and a wash; fine-tune the winter mud with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
