A premium injection-molded kit of the American M4A3 medium tank with a 76 mm gun, wet ammunition stowage (76W) and the modern HVSS suspension with wide tracks. The kit stands out for its full interior - it reproduces the inside of the fighting compartment, of the turret and of the engine bay. Workable track links, photo-etched parts and clear parts are included. The hatches can be opened, which lets you show off the worked-out inside on the finished model.
The M4A3 Sherman was among the most capable versions of this family - it was powered by a Ford gasoline engine and in the late phase of the war it received the more powerful 76 mm gun, which penetrated the armor of German tanks better. The HVSS suspension with twin road wheels and wide tracks improved both the ride and the distribution of pressure over soft ground. In this form Shermans fought in the closing stage of the Second World War in Europe and served after it as well.
Interior kits call for a well thought-out order of work: first assemble and paint the inside of the fighting compartment and the engine bay, and only then close the hull and the turret up. Bring the interior to life with washes in the recesses and a dry brush on the edges of the instruments. Finish the running gear and the tracks separately and weather them with pigments and mud effects. Leave the hatches open so that the detail the kit offers stands out.
