This injection-molded plastic kit captures the American M4A3 medium tank with the turret for the 76 mm gun and with wet stowage for the ammunition (W). Sherman models from Asuka (formerly Tasca) are among the most accurate on the market. The set contains plastic parts, clear parts, a photo-etched fret, rubber tracks and decals with several marking options.
The M4 Sherman was the most widespread American medium tank of the Second World War. The M4A3(76)W version had a more powerful engine, a 76 mm gun with better penetration and wet stowage for the ammunition, which reduced the risk of fire after a hit. Tanks of this version served in the closing stage of the war in Europe.
Take care to assemble the running gear and the turret carefully. Fit the rubber tracks only once the lower hull is painted. Use a thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. For a faithful look, an olive base, washes into the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
