A masking set for the model of the American M4A3E8 Sherman tank in 1:35 scale. The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint is on.
Responsibility details are not available.
The M4A3E8 Sherman is the late American version of the Sherman medium tank from the end of the Second World War, known by the nickname Easy Eight. It is told from the earlier machines by its HVSS suspension with horizontal volute springs and wide tracks; its road wheels are paired and carry rubber tire bands. In this form the Sherman went on serving for a good many years after the war.
This is a masking set for the M4A3E8 model in 1:35 scale. The masks save you lining color transitions by hand with a brush: they are applied to the model, the area is sprayed over and the mask is then removed. Which parts the set covers and which kit it is cut for should be checked in the instructions from the manufacturer, and the individual pieces should first be held in place dry.
Always apply the mask before spraying, and onto a dry base; press the edges down firmly so paint cannot run under them. Spray in thin coats and preferably twice over, because a heavy coat builds a ridge at the edge of the mask that shows once it is off. Take the mask off with tweezers shortly after spraying, while the paint is not yet fully cured, or the edge will tear. Wipe away any adhesive residue on the surface only once it has dried completely.
A masking set is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
