A plastic kit of the American M5A1 Stuart light tank in its early version, in 1:35 scale from AFV Club. The kit is supplemented by a metal barrel, photo-etched parts and decals for several marking options.
The M5A1 Stuart was a development of the Stuart line of light tanks. Compared with the older M3 types it had more powerful propulsion from a pair of Cadillac engines, an all-welded hull and a larger turret with a rear bustle. It was among the most numerously built American light tanks of the Second World War and served with Allied units on many battlefields.
Pay attention to the alignment of the running gear and the tracks. Use thin cement for plastic, the metal barrel and the photo-etched parts, prime the model and paint it with an airbrush. Dust and mud effects are refined with washes and pigments on the running gear and the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
