This is a resin engine deck with a rendered canvas cover for a model of the German Mercedes-Benz L1500 truck in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model but a detail accessory that replaces the original hood part with a more faithful casting with a realistically creased cover. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.

Use and fitting

  • Replaces the engine deck of the Mercedes-Benz L1500 with a more faithful resin part with a cover.
  • Wash the mold release agent off the casting, cut off the casting block and adjust the mating surfaces.
  • Bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate); fill the gaps as needed.
  • The covered area is a rewarding surface for washes, filters and dust effects.
