A metal barrel Rh-M-120 L/55 of 120 mm caliber with a machine gun barrel from Voyager Model in 1:35 scale is an add-on set for a plastic kit you already own, not a model. It is intended for the modernized Leopard 2 tank.

The package holds turned metal parts for building the German Leopard 2 tank in the modernized Revolution configuration in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle and not a finished model — it is an accessory, with which the plastic barrel of the main weapon is replaced, and according to the name a machine gun barrel is included as well. The base kit has to be obtained separately.
The Rh-M-120 is a German tank gun of 120 mm caliber with a smooth bore. The L/55 version has a barrel 55 calibers long, that is noticeably longer than the older L/44 fit, which is apparent on the silhouette of the turret at first glance. The Revolution configuration is a modernization package for the Leopard 2 aimed above all at the protection and the equipment of the vehicle; the L/55 gun is among its armament.
The L/55 is markedly long and slender. A plastic part of such a length is put together from two halves, after the gap is sanded it loses its circular cross section and in storage it sags noticeably, which on a horizontal barrel is seen at once. A turned piece stays straight, has the right profile along its whole length and the muzzle is drilled to depth. The barrel of the machine gun is additionally so thin in plastic that it tends to be deformed on the sprue already.
Try the seating dry and widen the hole carefully as needed. Degrease the parts with spirit before gluing, glue with cyanoacrylate in drops and check that the barrel lies on the axis of the turret — on a long barrel a deviation is multiplied. Apply the paint over a base meant for metal and put the finished model down so that the barrel does not lean against anything.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which is not part of the package. Glue, paints and other materials are not enclosed.
