An accessory set from the brand IBG Models made by 3D printing in resin. It replaces the plastic wheels from the basic box with parts in which the whole wheel, the rubber tire included, is made in one go. That does away with gluing halves together and above all with the parting line down the middle of the tire, which otherwise has to be sanded off laboriously.
The earliest rendition of the Panzer II light tank differed from the later series in its running gear. The wheels were smaller and their tire noticeably narrower, which went hand in hand with a different arrangement of the suspension. In photographs of the period from the end of the 1930s that difference is clearly apparent, and for a modeler it is one of the few reliable marks by which the early machines are told from the late ones.
Before the finish, rinse the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry out properly. Remove the remains of the print supports with a sharp blade or a file so that a flat mating surface is left. Resin will take an ordinary primer and acrylic shades, but it holds on cyanoacrylate glue, not on cement meant for polystyrene.
The contents of the package are the wheels only; it holds neither the vehicle itself nor the chemicals for building it.
